STEP BY STEP

Step 1

Once the final standings are set, the Loser must be publicly "relegated" — preferably with a league-wide ceremony where their badge or logo is dramatically torn down.

Step 2

The Loser must deliver a heartfelt farewell speech to the league, thanking everyone for "the opportunity to bottle it so completely."

Step 3

If there’s a feeder or minor league, the Loser is automatically demoted into it for the following season.

Step 4

The top player from the feeder league (or next on the waitlist) gets promoted, with much fanfare and trash talk encouraged.

Step 5

The only way the Loser can return is by winning the feeder league.

Ways to Spice it Up

Force the Loser to record a fake "post-relegation interview" in a terrible British accent, lamenting their poor "form" and blaming "the lads."
If they ever want back into the top league, they must pay a "transfer fee" — cash, beers, or an additional humiliating task.
